- 4-5 Roma tomatoes
- 1/4 cabbage
- 1 white onion
- 1/2 bundle cilantro (tops only)
- 3 or 4 Pickled Jalapeños (from the jar) plus 1 tbs. juice
- 1 tsp. plus a dash Garlic salt (to taste)
Add all to the Salsa Maker in small batches. The recipe above will do 3 batches in a salsa maker. If doing it by hand do all at once. This recipe should feed 8-10 people.
You can use fresh Jalapeños from Daddy’s (or your own) garden. I just like to use the jar kind because you can control the spice. Nana doesn’t like the spice and she gets pretty mean when it’s to spicy. Another tip is, if you have a couple avacados, add it to the leftovers left in you salsa maker and whip them up with a little more garlic salt and you will have the guacamole that everyone adores.
So let’s get to choppin and growin!
